Mr. and Mrs. Keith Redman received word Friday night that their daughter and husband, Katie and Frank Abbitt, were injured fatally in an auto accident at 10 p.m. Friday night near Casey, Ill. They were on their way to Attica from St. Louis Mo. for a weekend visit with her parents and other relatives. Mrs. Abbitt, the daughter of Keith and Virginia Stone Redman was born in Attica, June 29, 1938. She attended the Attica school and was graduated from Attica High School in 1956. She attended the Missouri Baptist Hospital School of Nursing and was graduated in 1959. She was employed at Koch Hospital at Lemay, Missouri. She was married to Frank Abbitt of Lemay, Sept. 30, 1960. The bodies were taken to the Hoffmeistic Mortuary, 7814 Broadway, St. Louis, Mo. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time. She is survived by her parents, paternal grandmother Mrs. Rosetta Houts, maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary Glavin of St. Louis. She is also the niece of Mrs. Carl Rice, Mrs. Alvin Ault and Mrs. Ed Larson all of Attica and Mrs. Dale Huff of St. Louis.
